Lovely restaurant with delicious tapas and very nice staff.

Transport & Parking

Travelled by train to Haymarket then by tram to Balfour Street stop. The tram stop at Haymarket is just outside the train station and the Balfour Street tram stop is just outside La Casa restaurant. Both were accessible for a wheelchair user.

Access

There was a very small gap at the entrance but my husband easily manoeuvred my wheelchair across it. As I had booked ahead to let the restaurant know I would be using my manual wheelchair a member of the La Casa team opened the door for us both when arriving and leaving. The table had space for my wheelchair and the option to transfer to a dining chair as I had originally said I intended to do when making the reservation.

The 2 members of the La Casa team we met were very nice and friendly. I liked that you could see the food being prepared in the open kitchen too.
