Amazing discount books

Overall Rating

Good

This shop was located on a busy street with lots of colourful shops. It has a right red-orange exterior and is full of discounted books. Its walls are full of wall-ceiling displays of books, and they have lots of different sections. There are also display tables in the centre of the shop with more books. All the books at £5 or less. Because it was quite a small shop, and it was quite busy when I went, it was a little bit tricky at times. But there was still enough space between the tables and shelves for me to navigate and turn around.

Disabled Access In and Around

Good

The door to the shop was propped open when I visited and there was no lip or step to enter. The flooring inside was a wood panelling which was very easy to wheel across. The walls are full of shelves with books on them, meaning some are very high up and some are also very low down. All the books are displayed with the front cover facing out which makes it a lot easier to see what they all are, even those high up and low down. The shelves are clearly labelled with orange signs above each unit with a label of what type of books are in that section. All the books have a sticker on them with their price.

There is no dedicated parking but there is some on-street parking available and also some public car parks in the streets nearby. Brighton railway station is roughly 600 metres away. About 120 metres away, on North Road, is a bus stop where you can get the buses 3X, 20, 37, 37B, 52, 79, and 98.
