Overview

This part of our tour takes in the beautiful villages around Broadway, where you will see what the Cotswold are all about, Honey coloured cottages, flower laden beds, countryside views, well worth taking the detours we recommend. SET SAT NAV WR12 7NE. STANTON A truly beautiful hamlet in the Cotswolds, well worth the detour to go and see, full of charm and delights, thatch at its best. (photo 1) picturesque country lanes (photo 2) each bend offers outstanding little house views (photos 3-5) Do continue to drive to far end of village (photo 6) turning LEFT at junction, and just following the main streets until you come to the charming Mount Inn, where you can park up and enjoy a cool drink or two, before turning round and retracing your route (photo 7) to the junction in the village, and here TURN RIGHT on the Broadway sign, which also shows “P” parking sign. Drive just a few yards to turn into free parking area, and now…. SET SAT NAV. WR12 7NA. LAVERTON Continue to drive the way you arrived here, and go up to junction, and TURN RIGHT for Stratford B4632. As you approach the next right for Laverton, TURN RIGHT on the sign for Laverton village only, (photo 8) then immediately TURN RIGHT on a narrow lane (photo 9), and then follow the bends to the left as you drive round. You will pass beautiful Cotswold homes, (photo 10) all well looked after and flower laden beds. As you approach a junction (photo 11) why not TURN RIGHT here and see the displays (photo 12) as you pass delightful little cottages (photo 13). This is a dead end, so you need TO TURN AROUND and just go back to the junction. TURN RIGHT here, then drive slowly through the village (photo 14) and continue to the last house on your left, just before a bend, and pull in on the hardcore on the Public footpath sign, so the you can just enter Sat NAV details SET SAT NAV. WR12 7LY. BUCKLAND Continue ahead then, up to main road, and TURN RIGHT for Stratford B4632 Drive for just a few yards towards the offset crossroads, and TURN RIGHT for Buckland and the Brown Buckland Manor sign (photo 15). Drive through the hamlet to pass the thatch roofed post box and telephone box (photo 16) and the Church (photo 17) and pull up at Buckland Court (photo 18) and TURN ROUND here to return past the church, And immediately TURN LEFT into BUCKLAND MANOR (photo 18).
