Overview

Le Negresco Hotel is a 5 star luxury hotel on the Prom des Anglais. My review is for Christmas dinner at their Le 37 Pop restaurant.

Transport & Parking

The hotel is on the Prom des Anglais, with bus stops nearby.

Access

There were 3 steps with a handrail into the main entrance. Once inside everything was step free and on the ground floor. At the time of visiting December 2018, one of their restaurants were being re-furbished and Le 37 Pop is a temporary restaurant. I was delighted to find that dinner was served in the Royal Lounge, under a glass dome with huge Baccarat chandelier. There were free standing table and chair.

Toilets

They public accessible toilet on the ground floor had recently been refurbished. It was spacious, clean and with a single grab rail on the left hand side.

Staff

Staff were exceptional, attentive but discrete. Service was excellent.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

This was such a treat. The 5 course meal was delicious. I was sat at a table next to the Christmas tree covered with white owls. The whole thing was magical. Outstanding and very, very special. Thank you. Jeanne Augier, who was the hotel's owner, sadly died in Janaury 2019.
