Llandegfedd Reservoir Visitor and Water Sports Centres are located next to the water providing fantastic views of all activities taking place. The 434 acre reservoir is set in the rolling hills between Pontypool and Usk and was created to provide drinking water for the city of Cardiff and is operated directly by Dwr Cymru Welsh Water; the only 'not for profit' water company in the UK. Access around the reservoir is currently limited for disabled users due to the nature of the local environment but plans are being developed to improve access both to the land and the water.

Both visitor and water sports centres are new buildings (2015) and meet the requirements of disabled visitors. All toilets are accessible by wheelchair with appropriate aids for a wide range of disabilities.
