Great campsite and visitor centre, ideal picnic spot.

Overall Rating

Good

The free parking, the visitor centre, the playpark and the view is all perfectly accessible but the route around the lake is far from suitable. We were told by a staff member the bike track was navigable by wheelchair.... Some of the steep slopes both up and down took the help of 3 people to navigate safely so yes I got round the 11km route but it is not for the faint hearted or ill prepared - I carry ropes with me just for occasions like this
