Overall Rating
Excellent
Overnight stay with a delicious meal and breakfast. The bedroom is well set up with plenty of room to manoeuvre a wheelchair. The shower room and toilet was well appointed. Rails on both sides of the toilet. Toilet quite low. Low level basin. Roll in level shower with free standing seat with back and arms and adjustable legs. Rain shower head. Bed quite high. I am small (5 feet ) so needed lifted onto it.
Disabled Access In and Around
Excellent
There’s a slight slope to the front door. Reception is near the door so you can summon help if needed. The reception desk is at normal table height so easy for wheelchair users. There’s a platform lift over 8 steps to reach accessible room.
Parking & Transport
Good
There are 2 Blue Badge spaces near the front door but they are often being used. However if you are a passenger, there is a drop off place outside the door.
Accessible Toilets
Good
The public accessible toilet is clearly signed and near reception. Rails on both sides of toilet. Usual fight with baby changing unit
Staff
Excellent
Staff were all friendly and helpful.
Additional Information
There’s a pool, spa, sauna, steam room and massage treatments available. I don’t know if these are accessible. My husband used them and said they were very good.
