One of the few hotels in the general area with an accessible bedroom. Grabrails in the bathroom; wetroom with stool. All public areas accessible - except spa.

Didn't check if there was an accessible loo in the main building. The one in the bedroom was very nice, if on the small side. It was impossible for my husband to turn round and get access to the soap/shampoo himself - I understand why "smellies" now seem to be fixed onto walls rather than in wee bottles which are easily "slipped into toilet bags", but they should be on a side wall, so that someone sitting on a chair can reach them.

Additional Information
The bed was too high! We have had this problem once before - anything higher than standard is very difficult for my husband to get on and off. Caused a few problems. There is access to the spa, but no grabrails anywhere, so almost impossible for most disabled users to enjoy any of these facilities safely. Would visit again if we could work out some kind of footstool arrangement at the bed, but not otherwise. The bed was a real problem for us, but might not be for others. Other than that, I'd definitely recommend this hotel, which has the right balance between smart and comfy.
