Edinburgh buses now accept mobility SCOOTERS!

Until recently, Edinburgh buses would not permit mobility scooters onboard. In my last visit, 09/08/2026, this changed - using my TravelScoot I was able to travel around the city with ease, using the buses. A GREAT IMPROVEMENT!

Hi David, Thank you for your positive review. Regrettably, we remain unable to accommodate mobility scooters for travel on any of our service buses unless they have been dismantled/folded and can be stored as luggage. Mobility scooters can be used on Edinburgh Tour buses, provided one of the two wheelchair accessible spaces is available.
