This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Wheelchair
Fantastic access for wheelchair users, only draw back is the limited space with only 1 wheelchair space.
Transport & Parking
The bus service in Edinburgh is great, with regular buses that travel all over the Lothian area. Also their website has a route planner which is excellent for planning your journey.
The buses lower to the ground with a ramp that comes out, allowing for easy access. The wheelchair area at the front of the bus is relatively easy to manoeuvre into depending on how busy the bus is.
This can be a bit hit and miss! It's a hard stressful job driving round Edinburgh and this can sometimes show.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Lothian buses provide a great service. The main draw back is only having the one space, so if this is already in use you can be left waiting on the next bus!
