Lounge 33 is a fabulous cafe located in the middle of Leith Walk. Enjoy a coffee and treat yourself to a delicious bake, while listening to some great tunes playing. Browse some cool records - a great mix of hip hop, jazz and indie classics. Dogs very welcome and get treats. In nice weather there are tables and chairs on the pavement. So much thought and care went into the design of this cafe. It has the most beautiful looking accessible loo I have seen - cafe owner Jess was adamant that it was as stylish as the rest of the cafe. If you're looking for a place to host a group, speak to the staff. They hold book groups, craft groups, and on some weekends will have a dj spin some records. I do live local and pop in here regularly. You get such a warm welcome, so does my dog Gimzo.

The front door opens inwards and could be heavy - but the door has windows and the staff will help you. Low level tables with chairs that can be moved about. The cafe bar is quite high - if you use a wheelchair or powerchair, or just need a seat soon as you arrive, the friendly team provide table service.

Accessible facilities: Single-level venue, Step-free entrance, Seating at regular intervals

    Good

I travelled to this place by walk or wheel

Located between Balfour Street and Mcdonald Road tram stops, bus stops very close. Leith Walk is terrible for parking generally, but there is paid parking in surrounding streets- but not guaranteed.

Super clean and stylish loo. It really is a pretty space, the owner wanted it to be nice for everyone. Transfer space looks great. Euan's Guide red cord cards in place! The team care a lot about the cord being reachable in emergencies, so if it is tied up let them know.
