This reserve has been recently created. This walk can be started from either end. We prefer the inland car park EX9 7AZ. We started from the car park turn right along the newly created even footpath and continued towards the coast. Great views, good for bird watching. Reaching the alternative LimeKiln Car park went through up onto the promenade. Stony beach, cafe and toilets available, A stretch of disabled friendly 'paving' has been laid there. We returned via the new footbridge and narrow but passable footpath on the opposite side of the reserve .
