Luss Caravan and Campsite

This site is so close to busy road, all you hear is traffic day and night. The view of Loch Lomond is lovely but at £39 a night I feel it is poor quality for disabled campers. There is only one toilet with shower facility for the whole site that is designated for disabled people . This is located beside the office/shop and you have to ask for a key for it to be opened. This room is spacious for wheelchair, had grab rails and plastic shower chair to sit in for your shower etc. so the area is satisfactory for purpose However, the access door opens towards you and this is difficult to manoeuvre on a disable scooter or a wheelchair. There was no drop curb on there narrow pavement which made it impossible to use my disable scooter on the pavements to negotiate the drop arm barrier that stood between me and my goal,: the bathroom Eventually a warden saw my dilemma and raised the barrier for me to get through to the bathroom.
