Overview

A lovely restaurant very close to the West End of Prince's Street. Unfortunately a 8cm step at the entrance (hence only 4 stars) but the staff are VERY helpful. Inside the restaurant is roomy, staff are lovely, food is reasonably priced (especially for the set menu), imaginative, and delicious. Disabled toilet facilities are excellent. Once they get that ramp at the entrance door, 5 star rating for certain!

The waitress told us that all restaurant profits went to an Edinburgh homeless charity, and that all tips were shared by staff, over and above their wage. I wish there was no need for such charities, but whilst such a need exists, such establishments deserve our support.
