Overview

We visited this centre for 2 prebooked lessons with a coach. Our sessions were designed for young people with additional needs and learning difficulties.

Transport & Parking

This centre is next to the Ethiad so has good transport links with the tram. We came by minibus and there were disabled spaces right by the entrance

Access

Signs were good but not all signs had symbols at the entrance. They did in other parts of the building. The symbols were small.

Toilets

There were 2 disabled toilets and changing areas/showers were included in the main changing room. These were all easy to find and there were grab rails. There were no hoists.

Staff

We had a brilliant coach and staff at reception were great too. The sessions were tailored to our needs and reviewed after the first session.

We enjoyed our sessions and the young people said "It was something new." "I liked hitting the ball" " I learnt how to- use a racket, throw a ball, throwing." " I liked the scarecrow game"
