I have inflammatory joint disease and significant physical fatigue Unable to manage the steps at the front of the hotel, I had to enter via the spa at the right hand side which is some distance from the disabled parking at the foot of the steps. I then had to negotiate a disabled lift with very heavy door, a corridor to the restaurant, the full length of the restaurant, the full length of the corridor to the very small lift and once upstairs, a similarly long distance to the disabled room I had booked which turned out to be at the farthest end of the hotel. This was not an enjoyable stay due to the difficulty getting in and out of the hotel and I was quickly relying on my husband pushing me in my wheelchair because I was exhausted. This was made tricky by the obstacle course of dodging tables and chairs as we negotiated our way through the restaurant and the very small lift which is only just big enough to fit one small wheelchair plus a carer. Fortunately the room was large enough to accommodate the wheelchair and the bathroom did have a suitably raised toilet and appropriately sited grab handles.
Disabled Access In and Around

Disabled access via a ramp and the spa entrance then wheelchair suitable lift to a narrow carpeted corridor and swing doors into the restaurant with no clear route to the door leading to the main hotel corridor and reception at the other side. Tables and chairs immediately blocking the way across restaurant necessitating a tortuous route trying to avoid them.

Car parking across the road from the hotel plus 2 disabled spaces at the foot of the steps, but not at the disabled entrance at the spa.
Accessible Toilets
Average
There is a wheelchair accessible toilet on the same level as the restaurant. It plays very annoying music! And there is no mirror.
