I am a disabled person. I have experience of challenges around: accessing toilets and moving around.

I use or have experience of: disabled toilet, powerchair, walking aid

    Good

Reasonably accessible with a power chair but some steep hills and uneven surfaces, especially hazardous at night.

    Disabled Access In and Around

    Rating Emoji

    Poor

Access is single level across most of the site, though it is pretty hilly and steep in some places. The road / path surface is not maintained well in some areas and there is gravel, making even power chair access tricky in places. We were there at night for the Christmas lights event, which made navigation even trickier. Thankfully, we’d already been round earlier in daylight so knew which bits to avoid.

Accessible facilities: Step-free access to most areas

I travelled to this place by personal vehicle

It was very busy for the Christmas lights event but there was plenty of disabled parking.

    Accessible Toilets

I can’t speak for during the day but for this evening event a lot of the site buildings were closed meaning there was a choice between accessible portaloos outside (which I didn’t use) and the cafe. The cafe did have one accessible toilet, but unfortunately it doubles as the baby changing facility which meant queues were long.
