Books galore!

Access to the library is fairly good with disabled parking outside, ramped access, automatic doors, and an accessible toilet.

Disabled Access at McDonald Road Library

We have a ramp at the entrance with access for wheelchairs. We have automatic doors. There are no slopes within the library on any of the floors. We have a standard lift

We have three disabled parking spaces outside on the street. They are immediately in front of library. There are no local parking restrictions assuming a blue badge is displayed. Spaces cannot be booked but are regularly available.

We have accessible toilets on the ground floor. The doors are wide enough for a manual wheelchair, and we have grab rails.
