McDonald's Perth Accessible Toilet

I am a disabled person and a carer or friend of a disabled person. I have experience of challenges around: a hidden impairment, accessing toilets and moving around.

Bad

The accessible toilet here is horrendous! It is very dirty, the toilet seat was loose and unsafe and the red safety cord was not in a convenient location at all, and it definitely did not reach the floor. The lock on the door was almost impossible to lock, it was so stiff I nearly got stuck in the toilet. The folding grab rail at the side of the toilet was hanging off the wall. It was absolutely shocking to be honest. One of the worst accessible toilets I have used.

There was automatic doors at the main entrance and plenty of seating in the restaurant area. Some of the seating is down a few steps. The restaurant had quite a lot of space to move about.

Accessible Toilets

Bad

The toilet, sink and general area was disgusting! The lock on the door was particularly stiff and difficult to lock and unlock. The folding grab rail by the toilet was hanging off the wall. The seat was hanging off and loose. The security cord was not easily accessible and did not reach the floor. One of the worst accessible toilets I've ever used!
