Went in for a drink. Loved the décor. The disabled loo was beautiful, large, clean, well designed.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
There are 2 entrances off the street, the right hand one has steps & therefore no good for wheelchairs, the left hand one is up a shallow slope & through a fairly wide door. The slight issue is that there was a table & chairs blocking access through the disabled entrance (sound familiar to anyone?!) so some guests had to interrupt their meal, get up & move their chairs to allow room for our wheelchair to enter the building. I understand from a business point of view, you want to squeeze in as many guests as possible, but I feel from a fire safety point of view & also to allow disabled access, this one table should be removed.
Accessible Toilets
Excellent
Frankly, the disabled loo was beautiful. A joy to behold & use, really large, spotlessly clean, well designed & well stocked. Credit where credit is due.
Staff
Excellent
Staff were helpful, opened the disabled access door & asked guests to move so we could get our wheelchair in. Friendly, didn't mind that on this occasion we just wanted a drink.
