Disabled Access at Melbourne Zoo

Zoos Victoria is committed to ensuring we provide an accessible environment for all our visitors at Melbourne Zoo. We achieve this in a variety of ways including: Discounts for carer and companion card-holders; accessible parking; accessibility for wheelchairs and pushers; accessible toilets; access for assistance animals; and guide mobile tours.

Disabled access

Accessible parking at Melbourne Zoo

There are six accessible parking bays near the main entrance of Melbourne Zoo. Seven accessible parking bays are located near the Rail Gate entrance. There is a bus drop-off point at the main gate and all-day bus parking on the northern side of the Zoo (except school and public holidays, where it is open to all vehicles).

Dedicated on-site parking

On-site accessible parking bays are available within 50 metres of the entrance.
