Average
This is a grand old Victorian hotel with a real feeling of history in a former mid-Wales spa town. The public areas are bang up to date, our bedroom, and the corridor leading to it, less so. We had a room with two bathrooms! One had been converted for wheelchair access with a strange but effective roll-in shower, and there were grab handles etc. Big and airy and a bit institutional, not luxurious. Food and service very good.
Excellent
Old building, but much done to help disabled visitors. Level entrance from car park, ramps where necessary and steps removed at changes in level, replaced by slightly sloping floors. Restaurant leel.
Good
Big car park at back with disabled spaces. Level entrance from car park with lift to public areas.
Didn't visit loo in public areas. Loo in private bathroom okay for wheelchair user.
Good
Friendly and helpful
