Milk

Who knew it was even there? No signage, but people clearly know about it because buzzing and busy. Cafe not visible from street - faces the other way. We were on an outside table because it was an (usually) sunny day! Accessible. We went via the car park not Hawthornvale. There is permanent a ramp to use. We had Turkish eggs and a toastie plus coffees -good Staff good. Reserved me an outside table and advised which way to enter with wheelchair.

This cafe is below the Edinburgh Sculpture workshop. It is accessed by lift from the workshop which is only open Monday to Friday - that is not entirely clear from their website or the Cafe website http://www.cafemilk.co.uk/sculpture-workshop/ One can also enter on the flat from the walk/cycle path; the cafe area is accessible by a wide and easy slope and the toilet is on the entry level. The staff are very friendly and very happy to talk to me about accessibility. The cakes looked gorgeous but I am in a no-cake phase!
