As well as free book loans, including large print (you can borrow up to 20!), we offer access to public computers and printing facilities, use of a photocopier and free WiFi. you can hire DVDs and audiobooks, language packs and use the public computers to have free access research sites like Ancestry. It's free to join the library; you just need proof of your identity and address. Membership of the library also allows access to free e-books, downloadable audio books and magazines to your own device via apps. Here at Moreton Library we have a computer buddy who can help you learn your way around a computer, a family history buddy, who can help you find out about your family tree (speak to a member of staff to arrange an appointment), and Baby Bounce and Rhyme; a fun and friendly session for your baby and you. As well as helping your child's development it's also a great way for you to meet other parents and carers. There's a small independent group for young people aged 8-13 who meet to play board games, do colouring or just make new friends on a Thursday 4.30-5.30pm. We also offer quiet space to read the papers or study, friendly and helpful staff and plenty of good books!
