A nice break from shopping
This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Hearing Aid, Wheelchair
A wheelchair accessible restaurant. With friendly in store staff.
Transport & Parking
Plenty of disabled parking spaces close to entrance at Napier Street. Also disabled spaces at entrance at Collier St with walkway over River and lift down to access. Johnstone train station a good 15 minute walk. No 38 b bus stops at Houston Square 5 minite walk via Collier street.
There are no steps from either access. Level ground access from Napier Street and throughout building. Walkway and lift access via Collier Street. There are induction loops at some tills which are marked with signage.
The disabled toilet is located next to entrance to Café, on walkway in front of tills. There is plenty room to manoeuvre, grabs rails and emergency alert cord. The toilet is freshly decorated and clean.
The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We found Nicky very helpful when we asked about the induction loop system and he went out of his way to get information for us.

All Morrisons supermarkets operate a quieter hour on a Saturday morning between 9am and 10 am. During that time lights are dimmed, music is turned off, they avoid making tannoy announcements, reduce movement of trolleys and baskets, turn checkout beeps and other electrical noises down and place a poster outside to inform customers that quieter is operating. This could be of great help to shoppers on the autistic spectrum or with dementia or anyone who benefits from a calmer environment. We would certainly visit again. There are plenty of options for food and drinks which are well presented, tasty and reasonably priced.
