Overview
Stayed here to attend concert at the COOP Live. This hotel has excellent access with a really spacious and modern accessible room.
Transport & Parking
The transport links are actually excellent with a tram hub right outside the hotel. Unfortunately the hotel doesn’t have its own car park but there are a couple of overnight car park less than a 5 minute walk/push. It did cost £36 to park overnight though.
Access
The main reception access is completely flat street to desk. There were seats in the reception for a rest. The desk was a little high but the staff were very friendly and I think would have come to the seated area if asked. The lifts are very close by (4 of them) each pretty large and would allow for a wheelchair to fully circle so you don’t have to reverse in or out. All the carpets there were very low pile so the corridors and rooms were easily accessed. The reception desk also had a screen and option to access additional information electronically.
Toilets
The accessible toilets were very clean and spacious with all the emergency cords freely hanging to the floor. The one in the bedroom didnt have a lidded bin unfortunately. There were grab rails and plenty space for a carer. I didn’t notice if there was a changing places bathroom I’m afraid.
Staff
Very friendly and all said hello and offered help. They were particularly nice to the dog too!
