Located in Bradford city centre, the museum consists of different activities to participate in including interactive galleries, IMAX theatre including one of the largest 3D screens to watch the latest films with space for wheelchair users, alongside cultural and educational activities and events. A number of wheelchairs are available for use within the museum which can be booked in advance. There are parking spaces for blue badge holders in the car park. Easy access toilets are available on three levels within the museum, two lifts are available one in particular to accesses all floors, both lifts contain audio announcements, braille and/or raised buttons. The museum shop is also wheelchair accessible and there is a lovely café inside the museum to grab a bite to eat serving a variety of food with really good service, within the café there are two heights of tables to accommodate wheelchair users and all seating is movable. Recommended for a fun day out with great facilities.
