I parked in the disabled car parking space at this car park which are on the first floor. I could not get into the lift without taking off the foot rests of my wheelchair. My wife (carer) could not fit in the lift with me, so took the stairs. Once at the ground floor we could not get out of the "accessible" entrance because the pavement outside was too narrow, and a car was parked by the pavement. this meant that my wife and a helpful passerby had to get me and the wheelchair down 3 steps to the pavement. As this is the nearest car park to the Nottingham PIP assessment centre, it is particularly important that it gets its act together regarding the provision of proper disabled access.
