Overall Rating
Good
This is a video review of the New Art Exchange in Nottingham. It is an art gallery which had free entry to two exhibits as well as a small café. There was also a small accessible toilet and it was located very close to a tram stop and car park.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
There were automatic sliding doors at the entrance. There was seating in the café and also in the large exhibit.
Accessible facilities: Step-free entrance, Seating at regular intervals, Step-free access to most areas, Lift to all areas
Parking & Transport
Good
I travelled to this place by tram
The gallery is located less than 100 metres from The Forest tram stop. And just behind the tram stop is a very large Park and Ride car park.
Accessible facilities: Public or on street parking
Accessible Toilets
Average
The accessible toilet was a little bit cramped and the door opened inwards which made it a bit tricky for me to navigate getting in and out by myself in my wheelchair. But it had good grab rails around the toilet and sink, a baby-change table and the red cord was hanging freely to the floor.
Facilities: Accessible toilet
