Newhaven Tram Stop is located at the end of the line, or the start depending on which direction you are travelling. Offering a short 25-minute ride into the city centre, it is a modern and accessible tram stop.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
This station has two platforms, helpfully labelled Platform 1 and Platform 2. It is worth noting that the crossings between the platforms have tactile paving but no traffic lights or audible indicators, apart from the bells from approaching trams. Each platform has ramped access, with seating available under rain shelters and in the open if you need a rest while waiting for the next tram. Hearing loops and overhead signage are installed across the platforms. Both platforms also have assistance points with braille markings and an intercom. Ticket machines and smartcard readers are available, although some may prefer to use the Edinburgh Trams app to buy tickets.
Accessible facilities: Single-level venue
