The Orange Tree Theatre is a 180-seat producing venue, situated a stone's-throw from the centre of Richmond upon Thames. Over its forty-five-year history the Orange Tree has had an exceptional track record of discovering writers and promoting their early work, as well as rediscovering artists from the past whose work had either been disregarded or forgotten.

Disabled Access at Orange Tree Theatre

The Orange Tree Theatre aims to be as accessible as possible. As well as our accessible facilities - which include a level access entrance, lift, and accessible toilet - we also provide a range of assisted performances throughout the year. These include relaxed and audio-described performances, as well as performances with Stagetext captioning. Hearing dogs and guide dogs are welcome. Toilets features at Orange Tree Theatre

We have an accessible toilet, featuring a wheelchair-width door, wheelchair-height toilet with grab bars, an emergency alarm, easy turn tap and door lock, and a wheelchair-height sink . Please note: our accessible toilet may not be accessible to people with large, powered wheelchairs due to limited turning room.
