Having checked that the venue was wheelchair/mobilityscooter accessible (online) I felt sure that I would enjoy the museum and gardens ... we paid the entrance fee. The museum was not viable as I found to my cost. The route was hairpin-bends around plasterboard thick walls ... I was continually stuck and doing 9 point turns, resulting in my husband having to lift me around each corner ... toddlers' pushchairs were also getting stuck. Once outside the route, although winding, was easier through the gardens. They were a pleasant meander. The way out was through the Garden Centre where the aisles were wide, spacious and well laid out ... cynically, easy to buy things ... would I go again ... no!
