I am a carer or friend of a disabled person. I have experience of challenges around: moving around
Overall Rating
Excellent
Shoe shop with plenty of room to get round with a big wheelchair and very helpful staff... and your dog can come in too!
Disabled Access In and Around
Excellent
double doors that can be opened and loads of room between display stands to get a wheelchair up and down
Parking & Transport
Good
quite a lot of blue badge parking but can be quite a way from the shop as the centre is pedestrianised.

Staff
Excellent
very helpful staff opened doors for us, and when we were in the shop, delighted to find that it was laid out well and had wide aisles making it easy for wheelchair access. Manager noticed that Mum had stopped to rest her arms (as she was pushing herself) and even offered to help by pushing mum to the part of the shop she was interested in while I took charge of our dog. Gave us suggestions of suitable shoes and paid loads of attention to mum. Excellent!
Additional Information
having been trying to get a good pair of shoes for Mum for several months and having given up in so many other shops because of lack of access, poor staffing or poor stock, this was a great experience and we will definitely go back. We finally got a pair of shoes that not only fit but are comfortable, and so nice for Mum to be the customer the whole way through, not to have the staff do everything through me. Thank you.
