Overview

Multi screen cinema close to Piccadilly Circus which shows new releases, art house, documentaries and hosts special events. On ground floor there is a self service café.

Transport & Parking

I travelled by public transport. There are several buses that stop close by. Nearest tubes are Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square, nearest accessible tube is Green Park, then bus or 10 minute walk away.

Access

On the ground floor is a café and on entering immediately in front of you is a staircase. The lift is at the rear so you have to walk through the café to get to the lift. The lift only takes you to the first floor where the ticket office is. The ticket office is at standard height. There is a lift from the first floor to the upper floors where the screens are.

Toilets

There are disabled accessible toilets on all floors. On the ground floor it is at the rear of the café next to the lift. There are disabled accessible toilets on all floors. The toilets are spacious, with grab rails and emergency alarm cord. They are also clean and tidy with fragrance sticks.

Staff

The staff are always exceptionally helpful and friendly both in the café and cinema. Staff have excellent disability awareness. They are proactive in offering and pointing out where the lifts are. When I asked for guidance of where the steps were in the screen the person can answer me without having to ask someone else for the information. On previous occasions they have also been outstanding. On my first visit after becoming disabled I phoned in advance, they reserved me a seat and someone escorted me to from the screen. On another time I arrived early and a staff member went and got me a chair to sit on while I waited. I can go there and feel confident that the staff will assist me if I need it. Café staff have carried my tray to my table when I've needed help.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

The ground floor self service café is very nice with movable seating and chairs. They serve hot food pizza, sandwiches, cakes and hot and cold drinks. It separate from the cinema, it's steps free with a disabled toilet, so you can use it even if you're not going to the cinema.
