Pollokshaws West railway station is a small suburban train station in Glasgow, Scotland. It was originally opened in 1848 (as “Pollokshaws”) and renamed in 1952.
Today, it’s managed by ScotRail and sits on the Glasgow South Western Line, providing regular services into Glasgow Central and towards places like Kilmarnock and East Kilbride.
It has two platforms and fairly basic facilities (no staff and limited accessibility), but it’s useful as a local interchange and is notably close to Pollok Country Park, making it a convenient stop for visiting attractions like Pollok House and the Burrell Collection.
