Trixie and her team are so welcoming to everyone. This bookshop/cafe is usually full but comfortably quiet, and is a favoruite spot for locals to sit, read and work whilst drinking lovely coffee. Their pastries and cheese toasties are really nice too with vegan sweet options. I am able to move around ok in my manual chair, apart from in the reading room which is a bit tight in some areas. I can't access the toilet, but TRAADE accross the road have an agreement with other shops to let people use their toilet when they have an access need and there are public loos across the road.

The bookshop is accessible, but the cafe is down a large step and is not accessible from the street or the bookshop. The servers always make sure they take your order when you come in to avoid a need to get to the cafe, but it is a bit disappointing not being able to see the pastries when choosing. There is space to leave a buggy or wheelchair power assist by the front desk. The armchairs are quite low and some might struggle to get out of them, but there are wooden chairs at the central table which are higher. Its not possible for my wheelchair to fit under the big table.

toilet has bars and is useable if you do not need to bring your chair into the bathroom with you. Sadly it isn't useable for me. There is a baby chage table
