Overview

We go to the library regularly mainly for borrowing books and also for book bug at weekends. A great airy space with really helpful staff. There’s also the Portobello Book Festival every Autumn which is usually held here. A big shout out to Edinburgh libraries generally for their app which means you can borrow lots of ebooks and audio formats too.

Transport & Parking

There’s blue badge parking right outside and it’s also very near the high street bus stops where lots of buses stop.

Access

There’s ramped access to the front door which has automatic doors and then level access throughout ground floor. It’s spacious and shelves are arranged with plenty of room to move around. If you want to come and study there’s a table at the end of the library.

Toilets

There is an accessible loo but it is upstairs. If you ask the staff they can help you with the lift,
