Overall Rating
Excellent
New built hotel Premier Inn with a restaurant attached in Bristol city centre.
Disabled Access In and Around
Excellent
Excellent, step free from street level. Automatic doors at the entrance. Lifts to all floors. I had pre-booked an accessible room with a walk in shower. I had a very spacious room on the 1st floor. It consisted a double bed, sofa bed, desk, chairs, wardrobe space and flat screen TV. The en suit bathroom had a walk in shower with seat and grab rails. There were also grab rails by the toilet and an emergency alarm in the bathroom and bedroom. The room was well maintained, clean and tidy. The room was comfortable and quiet. The adjoining restaurant was were meals were served and again this was step free.
Parking & Transport
Excellent
I travelled by taxi from/ to Temple Mead Station. Taxi had to park up in a parking bay a few yards away from the hotel entrance. Reception staff booked my taxis and they always turned up as requested. Sorry unable to comment about public transport/ car park facilities.
Accessible Toilets
0Didn't use the public toilets.
Staff
Excellent
Very friendly and welcoming. I was visiting Bristol for a friend's wedding and the reception staff booked my taxis for me. In the restaurant service was efficient and friendly. Food was self service but I had some veggie sausages cooked for me which was ordered via the waitress.
Additional Information
I find Premier Inn a very reliable hotel chain and their new purpose built hotel has excellent accessible facilities.
