Poor disabled parking

I am a disabled person and a carer or friend of a disabled person and a general supporter of disabled access. I have experience of challenges around: a hidden impairment, moving around and speaking or communicating.

Average
Although the Princes Hall has some good facilities for the disabled, it lacks enough disabled parking space, which is controlled by the local council (Rushmoor) not by the Hall itself. There are in fact only 4 disabled spots in the immediate vicinity which get used up very quickly. Therefore if one arrives well in time, it is impossible to find a suitable parking spot which in turn causes considerable difficulties whether one is in a wheelchair or not.

The hall itself is accessed either by a large number of steps or a very tiny lift. This is not suitable for mobility scooters.
Parking & Transport
Bad
Poor. only 4 disabled parking spots in the near vicinity. Others are not near enough to be accesssible if one has to push a wheelchair or walk with sticks or any other form of restriction. Although a "five minute" walk is fine for the physically able, this could well be much further. There is a drop off point but this is useless if the driver is disabled.
Accessible Toilets
Good
One accessible toilet are on ground floor so the use of the very tiny lift is necessary (if everyone is trying to use this during the interval of shows this can end up with a big backlog). Toilet cubicle itself is wide but there was no paper when I visited.
Staff
Good
Volunteers were great and welcoming.
Additional Information
I don't think I will be able to go again unless I am provided with transport, therefore losing my independence.
