There are 4 electric vehicle charging bays at the Procurement Central Store at 21 Dava Street as part of the NHS EV initiative. Unfortunately, I have not found them to be suitable for wheelchair users. There are 2 terminals, each at the top between 2 parking bays. There is no protected space between the parking spaces, so it would be hard for a wheelchair user to approach the terminal when both bays are in use. The terminals are up on a curb with a footpath running behind them, but they face towards the parking spaces, so it would be hard to interact with the display from the path. There are 2 disabled parking spaces to the left of the EV charging bays and a lowered curb to the left of them to get onto the path. One of the terminals has integrated 40kW cables, but no support arms, so the cables pool on the ground around the terminal, creating a trip hazard and obstacle. The terminal with the integrated cables also has a very high up interface, which could not be reached from a seated position. The other terminal has 7kW sockets on either side to be used with your own cable. The display is lower down, but again facing towards the parking bays.
