Good
The restaurant is centrally located in Melrose and has a nice wide door to access. Most of the tables and chairs can be moved with a range of seating options. This is quite a popular restaurant so I would recommend booking in advance and letting them know about any access requirements you have.

I felt the signage for the restaurant was good. The staff were happy to assist. There is a mix of tables, including square and circular ones. The booths and high tables and chairs at the bar may not be suitable for some people.

Transport options are limited. It seemed like mostly on street parking and the street parking was fairly busy when I visited. I’m not sure how great the bus options are. The nearest train station is at Galashields and it is a 4 mile walk along country paths from there. A taxi from the train station would maybe make this a better option.

The accessible toilet is spacious but I could not see a red emergency cord. When I visited the toilet roll holder was empty with spares placed on the hand rail (see the toilet image).
