    Excellent

I am a full time wheelchair user & I spent a lovely afternoon looking round this Outlet Mall on my own. There is underground parking with several accessible bays, lots of lifts, wide aisles & friendly people. Good range of shops & restaurants, cinema, toilets & a short walk (wheel) to the Lowry Theatre.

    Disabled Access In and Around

    Excellent

There are a few lifts inside, all large enough for a wheelchair & a few people. Lots of clear signage on the lifts & around the aisles. The aisles are wide & there are seats outside the coffee shops on the ground floor & lots of seats in the 1st floor where there is an accessible food hall & I found the staff helpful & friendly. It was a short walk to the Lowry Theatre down a ramp or steps & the 4 hours free parking should cover the time for most shows.

    Parking & Transport

    Excellent

I parked in the underground car park in my Transporter van (the entrance is high enough to get under) & I could reach the ticket to open the barrier. I took the ticket with me & on my way out I had it validated, giving me 4 hours free parking. I found the accessible bays near the entrance door and once inside I saw the lift which took me straight up to the mall. There is a tram stop just by the BBC studios, which is a short walk away - maybe a bit far if you are pushing a chair & then walking round though on a sunny day it is a pleasant walk.

    Accessible Toilets

    Rating Emoji

    Good

I struggled to open the door in the loo by the cinema & the toilet was too far from the wall to allow me to reach the grab rail but there were other toilets that I could manage, They had plenty of room for my wheelchair & for a carer & were very clean.

    Staff

    Excellent

I went to the Vue cinema to ask about 'pensioner' days & what was showing & the staff were really helpful, telling me about the next few films. They validate the tickets if you go to the cinema. I had a cuppa & a sandwich in the food hall which were carried to my choice of table & moved the chair for me. I went into a few of the stores & the staff were chatty, friendly & very helpful when necessary.
