Overview

I visited the island for the first time, for the TT races. Fantastic scenery around the island with a good location to watch the racing.

Transport & Parking

Arrived at 9 pm unable to obtain a wheelchair taxi before departure. The Steam Packet ferry went above and beyond by arranging transport for me. A number 3 bus was an option but with a large bag on a trolley I didn't fancy it. Plenty of carparking outside the hotel.

Access

Level throughout with a lift of sufficient size for my chair. A security door between public area and a lift, with a poorly positioned settee was a challenge, as I was on my own.

Toilets

The Accessible toilet was easy to find in the public area and of reasonable size.

Staff

All were very considerate and willing to help.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

My only grumble is the lack of any surface in the wetroom for my washing bag and other essentials to manage my condition. The bedroom was large and uncluttered but not a profiling bed.
