Overview

Very good food and pleasant and friendly service. The staff speak English, and can provide a version of the menu in several languages, including English. There's fresh produce on the menu, which includes Austrian and international dishes.

Transport & Parking

Can't comment on the parking. The tram stops in the Opernring and Karlsplatz U bahn station are a few minutes away.

Access

The pavement tables are on a very low platform. We had no difficulty in getting the wheelchair onto the platform. There is level access to the interior of the building through a reasonably wide door. The tables, both outside and inside, are spaced so that a wheelchair can be got to them.

Toilets

The only reason I've not given this place five stars is that there is no accessible toilet, and the approach to the toilets is too narrow to be negotiated by a wheelchair.

Staff

Very helpful and friendly. Once my wife had transferred to a chair, they whisked the wheelchair away and parked it inside the restaurant.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

We enjoyed salads, an excellent spinach risotto, Sachertorte for my wife and a pancake with hot raspberries and ice cream for me. Other guests were tucking into impressively large Wiener Schnitzels or burgers and chips. All tastes catered for.
