Drove an hour to get there and couldn't get in the main carpark due to concrete width restrictions. Can only access in a very small car. No signage to say there was another carpark but a local told us of one. Got to the next carpark and unloaded the mobility scooter. Be warned the site is really not really accessible as the gates are locked. Went to the visitors centre through barriers that the scooter could barely get through, a wheelchair couldn't manage it, and was told that it was to keep out travellers and save thousands a year in cleaning costs. If that's the case then either be brave enough to say that on the website or have a manned barrier in the carpark. Pointless waste going there , what we did see was very nice. wish we could have seen more.
