Overview

Outdoor Christmas lights trail. Trail is mobility scooter & chair friendly

Transport & Parking

2.5

The gardens are in a bus route (East Gate) and there is on street parking (West Gate), but the council have bollarded off what was the disabled parking so I'm not sure how good that is now

Access

4.5

The gardens have wide tarmac paths. Great for mobility scooters, chairs. There's a bit of a bump as you go in as you have to go over the foot/wheel wash designed to keep plant disease out.

Toilets

5

Fully accessible toilets in both the main building and the Terrace cafe. I particularly like the downstairs toilet in the main building because it has a concertina door. No struggling to open or close the door!

Staff

5

Not much call to interact, but when I have, they've been friendly & helpful.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

The food drinks van & hut on the trail are to high for easy use by someone in a chair or scooter. You need someone with you to do that for you.
