Overview

A Victorian theatre with a smallish modern foyer. The lift took a little finding, but there is level access to it and it does offer access to the level of the auditorium where the wheelchair spaces are. We didn't try to access the bar, so can't comment on that, but there was a sign explaining that there was a second lift which would enable a wheelchair user to access the bar.

Transport & Parking

Not able to comment as we did not go by car or by public transport. Bus stops nearby.

Access

See above. The wheelchair spaces are in boxes at the rear of the stalls, easy to access and with good sightlines and very comfortable chairs for non wheelchair users.

Toilets

Located at street level and close to the lift so easy to reach in the interval. Smallish but usable.

Staff

Once we got to the auditorium, the staff were very helpful.

Very advisable to book in advance and specify how many wheelchair users and how many accompanists there are in your party.
