Overall Rating
Good
I visited here on Disabled Access Day. I used the stair, but I think they had lift access in the building for people with mobility impairments. There was step free access around the rooms of the gallery, although there are glass doors separating the rooms. As with most galleries the access for visually impaired visitors was bit limited due to small text on the information cards next to each piece of work. An audio description would be great in these situations.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
There was ramp access to the front of the building. Inside I used the stairs, but I am sure there was also a lift in here.
Parking & Transport
Average
I walked to the gallery, but I do recall seeing a bus stop fairly close to it. This area didn't look like it had a lot of parking, but they may have some parking for disabled visitors at the front of the building.
Accessible Toilets
0I did not use them so not sure how good they are.
Staff
Good
Helpful enough, but there was no one obvious upstairs to ask questions.
