Wingstop

As a vegetarian, I was a bit concerned when the group decided on Wingstop, so it was good that I did not also have to worry about how to enter the restaurant in my powerchair thanks to the open door and step free entrance. I was then pleased to find that there were food options other than chicken wings and had some fries, corn and a milkshake. The counter is low enough to comfortably interact with the cashier from a seated position and reach the card machine. (Cash is not accepted.) The menu is displayed overhead and there is also a QR code to scan for a digital menu that can be filtered by allergens. I struggled at times to understand what the staff was saying because the music was very loud. Once you have placed your order and paid, you are given a sign with a number and the food will be brought to your table. If you order a soft drink, you get a cup that you can fill yourself at one of two drinks dispensers. Unfortunately, the touch screen displays are not fully within reach from a seated position. I did not have to deal with this since I had ordered a milkshake, but if you needed some help, there were a lot of staff you could approach for assistance. We sat at a booth in the back and the walkway was large enough for me to sit at the side of the table in my chair without blocking anyone from passing by. The kitchen opens up to the back area with the booth seating, so there is quite a lot of noise and beeping in addition to the loud music playing in the restaurant. I enjoyed my food, but I soon hit the point where I was wishing for a little more variety. Everything is quite strongly seasoned and the fries and corn do not have as much variety as the wings seasonings. If you are the type of person who prefers their food a little more bland, this is probably not the place for you.
