Overview

We attended a reunion here with former colleagues. The food was really tasty, and there was a good range on the menu. I had stuffed vine leaves, followed by chicken kebab with fries and salad. Despite being very healthy food, it was filling and satisfying. I was glad I hadn't chosen the 3 kebab option. The salad was particularly tasty because of a lovely dressing. Everyone in the party enjoyed their food. The atmosphere was good. Greek music was on a loop, which was slightly repetitive, but I was able to tune it out after a while. The walls had some murals to create the feeling we were in Greece. It might be a nice place for a romantic dinner or a family gathering. We'd booked, as we were a large party, and they were informed a person using a walking aid was attending. I'd advise this, so they know to give you a table on the ground floor. The restaurant has distinctive decor outside so it was easy to spot when coming from St Peter's Square. There was only one turn off and it was very close, with smooth pavements and only one road to cross.

Transport & Parking

5

This restaurant in central Manchester has no car park and on street parking is not possible. However, it is very close to the tram stop on St Peter's Square. Trams are fully accessible and at busy times there are guards to ensure you have a priority seat. There were both ramps and steps at the tram stop, both ends.

Access

5

There is step free entry to the outside area of the restaurant and a small ramp over the threshold to get inside. A disabled person can be seated on that floor and not downstairs.

Toilets

4.5

The toilets are down the stairs but there is an accessible toilet on the ground floor which was easy to access. Clean, with all the grab bars. Not a changing places facility.

Staff

The staff were great. We were a little early to meet the rest of our group, so they gave us a table near the door so we could wait for them. Orders were quickly taken and it wasn't a long wait for food though they were quite busy for a Thursday lunch time. Since we declined dessert and coffee (not my choice) they did seem quite keen for us to leave so they could clear up, but we were a large party of 11 so they might have needed the space.
